Nature's Destiny Green Clay and Tamanu Oil Cleansing Balm

Hey Everyone! Today I would be reviewing the Nature's Destiny Cleansing Balm for combination and oily skin.

About the Brand: Nature's Destiny is an Indian Brand which curates face, bath and body products. All their products are made using the finest ingredients available.

ClaimsNature's Destiny Green Clay and Tamanu Oil Cleansing Balm helps to remove impurities and gives clear skin. This Cleansing Balm helps to retain the right amount of natural moisture required for soft and supple skin. It can also be used as the best make up remover. It has Tamanu Oil which treats acne scars and has French Green Clay which is known for removing impurities, toning the skin and reducing inflammation in acne.

Price and Quantity: INR 175/- for 50 grams

Availibilty: Nature's Destiny Website

Ingredients: French Green Clay, Kaolin Clay, Cold Pressed Tanamu OIl, Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin B3(Niacinamide), Vegetable Glycerin, Castor Oil, Emulsifying Wax, Fragrance

Shelf Life: Best before 1 year from the date of manufacture.

Directions: Keep refrigerated. Gently massage the balm in circular motions all over your face. Wet a clean muslin cloth with hot water, and wipe it all over your face.

Packaging: The packaging is an aluminium tub with a screw cap. However, it is very flimsy and is at times a task to open.

My Experience

I introduced double cleansing in my night skincare regime only a few months back and wanted to begin with something affordable.

Nature's Destiny is an upcoming Indian brand with affordable products range and what better to support it than buying from it. Thus, I placed my order.

When the tub is opened, an oily fragrance is noticed, which is not extremely overpowering and fades away after one uses a face wash.

One needs only a pea sized amount on the face and it melts away all dirt, excess oil and all the make up. It even emulsifies when comes in contact with water.

I have used this cleansing balm on a full face of make up as well as on a face of no make up and in both the cases, this product has worked equally well.
This cleansing balm indeed stands per its claim to remove all the make up and leave the skin soft and supple. The best part is that it did not sting my eyes.

Also, my skin did not feel stretchy or greasy after using this. In total, it is a very balanced formula.

I cannot comment on the claims of fading acne scars as I don't have any.

Summing up:

Pros:
  • No Plastic Packaging
  • Affordable
  • Doesn't sting the eyes
  • Removes make up extremely well
  • Doesn't suck out the moisture from the skin
  • balanced formula
Cons:
  • A bit flimsy packaging
  • Oily fragrance which might bother some of you
All in all, I love this product.

Would I recommend it: Definitely yes

My Ratings: 4.5/5
