Today, I would be reviewing another lip balm from my Lip Balm Series which is from First Water.
First Water Solutions is known for making personal care products that are made using 100% natural and plant based products.Their high quality products are also gluten free which makes them a very inclusive brand. They believe in a holistic approach to skincare.
Claims: First Water Mandarin Lip Balm is 100% natural, plant based and infused with mandarin which keeps the lips soft and moisturized all day long with its hydrating formula. The Mandarin Lip Balm is gentle on the lips and does not cause irritation.
The Lip Balm is free from parabens, animal roducts, petrochemicals and PEG.
Price and Quantity: INR 199 for 8 grams.
Availability: Nykaa
Ingredients: Edible Plant Wax, Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Flavour.
Shelf Life: 18 months from the date of manufacture.
Directions: Use through the day and night for keeping your lips soft and hydrated. Take a tiny amount on fingertip and smudge on the lips.
Packaging: The packaging is a plastic tub with a plastic screw cap. overall. a very simple packaging.
My Experience
First Water as a brand is very new to me and I am sure, it must be new to many of us. I wanted to give this brand a try and what better than a lip balm!
As mentioned earlier, the lip balm comes in a plastic tub, with its manufacturing, ingredients, expiry and other details at the back.
It has a very citrusy fragrance to nice it and is because of the added Mandarin flavour. The fragrance is refreshing, I would say.
Coming to the consistency of the lip balm, it is slightly thick and the colour of the lip balm has a tint of orange.
I noticed two things, which are very weird and I would like to mention it: First, if a little bit extra product is taken, the application becomes difficult and the colour changes to creamy white. The a lip second weird thing is that, the lip balm stains the fingers 'yellow'; a picture of which is inserted below.
I have no clue as to why this happens, but it is not acceptable because there is no such ingredient which would leave a stain.
I have this product for over 3 months now and everytime I use it, I am left confused.
Now, coming to the moisturization it provides is nothing extraordinary. If one has extremely chapped lips, then they have to coat it with another lip balm or a lip oil.
Once applied, it stays on the lips for about 3-4 hours and is completely gone if one has a full meal.
As per its claims, it did not irritate my lips but also did not prevent my lips from being chapped.
It is just another ordinary lip balm.

As salaam u alaikum my ebullient geeks.
This is my first blog of 2021. I hope that the year ahead proves to be in our favour.
So today, I would be reviewing about Wow's Red Onion Black Seed Oil Hair Mask.
Wow is a well-reputed brand that is dedicated to redefining beauty, health and wellness with extensive range of natural and herbal products, with any harmful chemicals. They are based in Bangalore, India and the brand aims to nature friendly beauty and healthcare, while lining up products that suit both men and women with all types of skin and hair products.
Claims: The Wow Red Onion Black Seed Oil Hair Mask claims to help strengthen, soften and smoothen dry, damaged hair and prevent breakage. The mask also claims to restore shine to dull hair and add volume to limping hair. Further, the mask is nourishing and moisturising.
It is free from mineral oil, silicones, parabens and colour.
Price and Quantity: INR 499/- for 200 ml.
Availability: Wow website, Nykaa, Purplle, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Ingredients: Only the key ingredients are mentioned on the tub and also on their website.
The first five key ingredients are: Purified Water, Cetostearyl Alcohol ( Fatty Alcohol and Consistency Builder), Glycerin (Vegetable Derived), Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolysed Wheat Protein [Gluten free] (Cleansing and skin/hair conditioning agent) and Behentrimonium Chloride (Hair Conditioner).
Out of the 24 key ingredients mentioned, Red Onion Seed Oil Extract is 16th on the list, whereas Black Seed Oil is 17th on the list.
The hair mask does contain Fragrance, which is the 5th last ingredient.
Shelf Life: 2 years from the year of manufacture.
Directions: Shampoo and squeeze out excess water. Apply the hair mask from tip to root. Finger comb the hair and emulsify the mask through the hair to allow it to penetrate the shafts. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and then do a final rinse with cold water to seal cuticles and add shine.
Packaging: The packaging is a tub, which comes in a cardboard box. For the amount of the product offered, the size of the tub is normal/medium. The packaging is sturdy.
My Hair Type: Normal Scalp with Dry Hair.
My Experience
To be honest, I bought this hair mask only because of two reasons. First, it's strengthening claim and second, because it is a wash off hair mask. I need not shampoo my hair after applying it.
For any product, the first noticeable thing is its fragrance. As for this product, since it has added fragrance, it smells good, not at all like onions. The smell is mild but stays in the hair for about 4-5 hours post wash.
Talking about the consistency of the product, it has a slightly runny consistency. the hair mask spreads evenly on the hair strands.
I prefer keeping the mask on my hair for about 15 minutes and washing it off with plain water.
Post wash, the feels soft upon touching. Thus, the hair mask stands at its claims of softening and smoothening the hair.
Also, as per its claims of adding volume, I do feel that it adds an extra volume to the hair.
As far as the breakage of hair is concerned, I did not notice any difference in my hair-breaking pattern. My hair breaks at the same rate. No changes noticed.
Further, the Wow Red Onion Black Seed Oil Hair Mask claims to add shine to dull hair. However, what I noticed was completely different. Even though the hair mask adds volume to my hair and makes it soft and smooth upon touching, my hair looks very unhealthy and frizzy (even though its not).
At last, the strengthening claim, I did not notice any changes in my hair fall.It is the same.
So, lets quickly sum up the pros and the cons.
Pros:

Today, I would be reviewing Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask.
Laneige as a brand focuses on a healthy, moisture filled radiance with new beauty for life full of luminous moments.
Claims: The Lip Sleeping Mask by Laneige gently melts away dead skin cells from the lips, thereby making the lips feel smooth and soft.
Availability: Nykaa
Directions: Apply generously and leave on overnight. Gently wipe off remains the next morning.
Shelf Life: 3 years
My Experience
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has been in the Indian market for about 3 years now and every beauty influencer raves about it. so, finally, I decided to give in for the hype this product had created.
The packaging is in the tub form, which I prefer and it is also travel friendly.
When the lip is opened, the first thing one notices is the smell. The lip sleeping mask smells like actual berries and it is a very delicious fragrance, to be honest.
The consistency of the lip sleeping mask is quite thick and it has a light peachy color to it. but on applying, it is a transparent lip mask.
Initially, I used it as per the directions,ie, only at night and I woke up to really soft and supple lips.
However, later, I started using it as a lip balm and it worked the same, like magic. The lip balm stays on even after meals, which is a great plus point.
I absolutely love the sheen that this lip mask gives me.
Now, the main question here is, is it worth the price and hype?
It definitely is. I have exremely dry and chapped lipsnduring winters and even all round the year, and it works fantastically.
Pros:
Expensive
Rustic Art is an Indian, homegrown brand which encourages the use of products that are closer to nature, pure and capture the real essence of its ingredients. The brand believes that everyone should lead a life that is free from harmful toxins, chemicals and artificial elements, or in other words 'rustic'.
Claims: The Rustic Art Calendula Organic Lip Moisturizer is specially designed with gentle ingredients to suit babies and kids. The lip moisturizer is prepared from 100% natural oils and butters for long lasting protection. It provides extreme moisturization and helps heal dry and chapped lips.
Price and Quantity: INR 300/- for 9 gms.
Availability: Rustic Art Website, Nykaa, Amazon and others.
Ingredients: The first 5 ingredients are: Cocus nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus amygdalus (Almond) dulcis Oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) seed Oil, Sesamum indicum (Sesame) seed Oil and Garcinia indica (Kokum) Butter.
Out of the total 10 ingredients, Calendula Oil is 9th on the list.
The product is natural, organic and biodegradable.
Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Directions: Open the cap and apply the balm on your lips. a thin, even coating on the lip will keep them moisturized and help them in healing.
Packaging: The packaging is a tub with a screw cap, which is kind of aesthetic and luxurious: gives a vintage vibe. Its small packaging makes it travel-friendly.
My Experience
I was scrolling Nykaa when I came across the brand, Rustic Art. To be honest, I was amazed by their innovative product range and to give the brand a try, I went on to buy their Calendula Lip Moisturizer.
The Lip Moisturizer comes with an outer cardboard box, which has all the details about the ingredients, their claims, their shelf-life and the price of the product.
Coming to the product, once the tub is opened, you will get its smell and the smell is weird: the slightest hint of camphor mixed with coconut oil, I would say. I checked the ingredients and the product is free from camphor. The smell, however, is not very pleasing.
The consistency of the lip moisturizer is thick, like frozen butter. The lip Moisturizer has no tint, which is appreciated as it can be used by both men and women. Also, a very small quantity is need. A little goes a long way.
When the lip moisturizer is applied on the lips, it feels as if one is literally applying butter. It melts during application and forms a nice, thin layer on the lips. I also noticed that there is a slight sheen on the lips post application. The lip moisturizer is not at all heavy on the lips and as per its claims, provides extreme moisturization.
Once applied, it stays on the lips for about four and a half to five hours, which is great. However, the smell of the lip moisturizer does not fade away but lingers till the product is on the lips.
The product also stands to its claim of healing chapped lips. You apply it before going to sleep and you will wake up with the softest and the most moisturized lips.
It can also be worn underneath a lipstick, as it will provide moisturization to the lips.
The Rustic Art Calendula Lip Moisturizer is a saviour for people with dry and extremely chapped lips.
Summing up,

Mamaearth is Asia's first Made Safe certified brand. The brand aspires to take care of its audience from head to toe with safe, toxin free and international standard products. The products are a unique combination of science as well as Ayurveda to provide solutions to every problems faced.
Today, I will be reviewing the Mamaearth Tea Tree Hair Mask.
Claims: Mamaearth's Tea Tree Hair Mask helps to soothe the irritating oily scalp and control dandruff, giving an itch-free healthy scalp. It also nourishes the scalp and prevents hairfall.
The mask is suitable for both men and women.
Price and Quantity: INR 599/- for 200gm
Availability: Mamaearth Website, Nykaa, Purplle, Amazon and others
Ingredients- The first five ingredients are: Aqua, Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine (Conditioning Agent), Brassica Alcohol (Conditioning Agent), Capryl/Capric Triglycerides (Cleanser), Cetostearyl Alcohol (Consistency Builder).
Out of the total 14 ingredients, Tea Tree is 9th on the list.
The product is free from sulphates, parabens, SLS, mineral oils, petroleum, artificial preservatives, colours and fragrances.
Shelf Life: 2 years from the date of manufacture
Directions: Part the hair in two halves. Take a palm full of hair mask and apply adequate quantity to wet hair. Spread the product generously onto hair and scalp.
Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes before washing it off.
For best results, use 2-3 times a week.
Packaging: The packaging is a tub and it is huge, which DOES NOT make it travel friendly.
However, the inner lid is very tight and does not open which is very irritating.
My Hair: Normal scalp with Dry and Frizzy hair.
My Experience
I have been facing dandruff issues off lately and thought of giving this mask a try.
When one opens the screw cap, there is an inner lid and to open it is a task. After a lot of failed attempts, when one opens it, the first noticeable thing is its smell. The fragrance is lemony and could more precisely be related to ENO.
The consistency of the Mamaearth Tea Tree Hair Mask is neither too runny nor too thick. I would say that the mask has the right consistency.
The hair mask spreads evenly on the scalp as well as on the hair.
I prefer keeping the mask on my scalp and hair for 15 mins and then washing it off with a SLS free shampoo. Also, the mask washes off really easily during wash.
Post hair wash, the hair feels frizz free and a lot more shinier. Also, the hair does not feel heavy.
As the hair mask claims to remove dandruff, I noticed that my scalp was dandruff free for a day or two but on the third day, my scalp had dandruff again. So, the hair mask washes away the dandruff, however, does not remove it completely.
Also, I did not notice any reduction in my hairfall.
I cannot comment on its claim of reducing itchiness from the scalp as I don't face itchiness.

My Experience
The spray on the bottle spritz the product evenly on the face. Its like a gentle flow of clouds that surround the face, which is appreciated.
Coming to the smell of the toner, it is mild and refreshing. The smell fades away a few seconds after application. However, the colour of the toner is slightly pink. One would utmost need 3 sprays to cover the entire face and the toner gets absorbed into the skin within 40-50 secs.
When it is spritz on the face, it does not feel heavy and after it dries, the face does not feel sticky.
Pomegranate is known for its rejuvenating properties and this toner provides instant hydration to the skin and makes it plump as per its claim. It also stands up to its claim of making the skin feel refreshed.
The toner gives a youthful glow to the face and does provide continuous hydration.
As far as the other claim of anti-aging is concerned, I am not in a position to comment on that as I am in my early twenties. However, it does not minimizes the appearance of visible pores.
The toner will suit all skin-types.
The toner is for sure worth a try and is not heavy on the pockets at all. And this would prove to be a great toner for oily to normal skinned beauties during winters.

My Experience
Back in my hostel, my friend had it and even I had tried it once but ended up not liking it. So, when lockdown happened, and I was at home(though I still am) I thought of giving this a try again.
When you will open the cap, you will first notice the weird smell, sort of medicinal. I personally did not have any issues. However, my brother did not like the smell at all.
The consistency of the face wash is normal, neither too thick, nor too runny. It contains very small beads which are not harsh on the skin at all and help in exfoliating the skin physically.
The face wash doesn't lather much and one would require more than a pea-size amount to cleanse the face thoroughly.
Post wash, the face would feel squeaky clean and a delicate glow is noticeable and the face doesn't feel parched or stretchy, as per their claims. The smell fades away once the face is cleansed.
However, I did not notice any reduction in hyper-pigmentation or marks, as per their claims.
This face wash is worth a try and is not burning the pockets as it is always on sale.

Good Vibes is an Indian brand which makes a variety of skincare and hair-care products that are affordable.
Claims: The Good Vibes Orange Gel helps treat dark spots and blemishes, helps in drying away acne and improves skin texture and colour. It refines pores and controls oiliness. The last claim is that it brightens dull skin. It is suitable for all skin types but is the most beneficial for dry and dull skin.
The product is free from parabens, sulphates and mineral oil. it is also cruelty free.
Quantity: Available in 50g, 100g and 300g
Price: INR 215/- for 100g
Availability: Purplle and Amazon
Ingredients: The first five ingredients are- Purified water, Carbomer, Glycerin, Disodium-EDTA, TEA pure. Orange extract is fourteenth on the list.
Shelf Life: 2 years from the year of manufacturing.
Directions: Multiple ways
Packaging: The packaging is very simple which is a plastic tub with a screw cap.
My Skin-Type: Combination- Oily T-Zone with normal skin.
My Experience
When the tub is opened, the first thing one will notice is its smell. The gel has a mild citrus fragrance which is refreshing.
The orange gel has the slightest bit of orange colour to it and the consistency is thick. one will only need a pea-size amount to cover the entire face as it glides easily. The gel absorbs into the skin within 30-40 secs.
When it is applied on the face, it is light-weight, non-greasy and non-sticky. It provides instant hydration, the skin feels oil free and plump, as per its claims. Also, it did not irritate my skin.
As far as the claim of brightening is concerned, I felt that it at times brightened up my skin and the glow was visible.
However, as far as other claims like reducing dark spots and drying away of acne are concerned, I didn't see any difference. There was no improvement in my skin texture and colour.
It works as a gel moisturizer during summers and monsoon but the skin feels slightly dry during winters. This makes me doubt the company's other claim that the gel is especially beneficial for dry skin.
It is not a must have and there is nothing special about the product. However, its not heavy on the pockets and oily skinned beauties can give this a try.

Hey Everyone! Today I would be reviewing the Nature's Destiny Cleansing Balm for combination and oily skin. About the Brand : Nature...
